Story
Get to Know Us
ABC School for Bartenders was founded by Chef Perry Davis aka "ChefDonp " former owner of "Just Like Grandma's Cafe" who took a break from his love in the kitchen and found a new passion in crafting cocktails. ChefDonp has worked at numerous restaurants cooking and bartending. He constantly looks for ways to learn new things. In 2024 he attended a bartending course in Raleigh, N.C. While attending he along with his classmates felt their time and money had been wasted the instructor never showed them anything not even how to pour or make a drink, she just read from a poorly written manual with inaccurate drink recipes. Perry challenged the teachings and began sharing his knowledge with his classmates. Many suggested he teach the class and that planted the seed. Our first graduating class largely consisted of his former classmates and others who attended that same school. His desire and our goal here are to equip you with the knowledge and confidence to succeed and be the best!
